Product Overview
The HW-1880 is a stationary 2D barcode reader designed primarily for integration into various self-service equipment. It supports internationally standardized 1D barcodes, 2D codes, MRZ strings on IDs or passports, high-density PDF417 on driver’s licenses, reverse-phase Datamatrix codes on Russian cigarette packages, and nearly all other common barcode types. Additionally, it features anti-glare capability for reading in direct sunlight, and can scan both printed barcodes and electronic screen codes, as well as DPM (Direct Part Marking) codes, which are engraved barcodes.
As part of a series, it offers comprehensive functionality to meet diverse application needs. Besides standard models, we provide customization according to specific client requirements, including special features, performance adjustments, and interfaces such as RS232, RS485, and Wiegand.
