Application Modes
Beyond standard manual, auto-sensing, command, and continuous scan modes, HW-1260D provides two exclusive operating modes:
Same-Code Auto Sensing Mode
The engine activates by detecting environmental light changes. Once triggered, if the same barcode remains in view, it maintains scanning but outputs data only once (same-code filter) until a different barcode is presented. If the barcode is removed beyond the set time and then reinserted, it will be read again.
Same-Code Continuous Mode
The engine runs continuously with same-code filtering enabled. It only outputs the first successful read of the same barcode and updates output only when a new barcode is detected. If the barcode leaves the scan zone longer than the preset time and returns, it will be decoded and output again.
