The HW-6290 is a portable Bluetooth wireless barcode scanner that integrates world-leading decoding technology, wireless communication technology and display technology. Since its launch, it has gained wide popularity among clients in sectors such as logistics, warehousing, healthcare and retail.

First, in terms of decoding, the HW-6290 adopts CMOS image-based decoding technology, equipped with a 640×480-pixel camera and a global exposure sensor. This enables rapid image capture and comparison, utilizing the clearest images for decoding. Powered by an Ingenic 1GHz main control chip, its high refresh rate accelerates image analysis, thus achieving reading and data output in the shortest possible time. It is capable of fast decoding for nearly all 1D and 2D barcodes, whether printed on physical objects or displayed on electronic screens.

Second, regarding wireless communication, the HW-6290 supports data transmission via Bluetooth (with switchable HID, SPP and BLE protocols), 2.4GHz wireless transmission and USB Type-C. Bluetooth transmission can reach a maximum distance of 20–30 meters, while 2.4GHz wireless communication extends up to 80–100 meters, delivering great convenience in practical applications.

Third, the display, storage and battery system. The device is fitted with a display screen that enables human-machine interaction via physical buttons. This eliminates the need for cumbersome configuration via scanning codes with a user manual, greatly simplifying operation for users. Meanwhile, the screen can display communication status, date and time, battery level and scanned data, allowing users to access real-time device information instead of operating a "black box". In terms of storage, it comes with 16MB of built-in flash memory for storing barcode data scanned in offline mode (supporting both real-time upload and offline modes). This allows users to carry the scanner outdoors for scanning tasks, and upload the data to a computer upon returning to their workstation. The HW-6290 wireless barcode scanner is equipped with a 1200mAh lithium polymer pouch battery, which supports over 10 hours of continuous operation on a full charge and can be repeatedly recharged via USB, laying a solid power foundation for its portability.
