HW-1870R Programmable QR bar code scanner module is an embedded barcode reader module, which can read almost all 1D bar codes and 2D codes. The main application is to install it in the device, and the user shows the barcode to read.

HW-1870R has rich software design. It can receive the command signal sent by the host through the RX pin of the serial port of the module. The module will take corresponding actions according to the received command. For example, if the command "start scan" is received, the module will execute Turn on the light to start decoding; when receiving the "stop scan" command, it will go to sleep; after being triggered by the command, it can be in a working state all the time, or it can stop working after scanning the code successfully or after a timeout;

At the same time, it is also possible to set whether to send a response command to the host. By default, no response command is sent; the response command can be set to a fixed command or a different command.

The so-called programming is a process in which the developer sends different commands according to the command list, and the module executes the corresponding action, which brings great convenience to the developer, and can also be applied to automated human-computer interaction, such as the application on the self-service machine , the consumer presses the "settlement" button, the host sends a "start scan" command to the scanner module, and when the settlement is completed, the host can send a stop scan command.
