HW-5900 In-counter Omnidirectional Barcode Scanner Platform is a high-performance platform barcode scanner, which can be used in supermarket manual checkout counters to scan 1D commodity barcodes, 2D commodity barcodes and QR payment codes, and it can also be embedded in self-service equipment so that consumers can pay for themselves.

This product is equipped with a 1 million pixel (1280*960pixel) camera and a high-sensitivity sensor. The reading time is about 5ms (commodity barcode). At the same time, its scanning angle is very large, allowing users to easily scan codes. The large window design allows users to easily place the barcode in the effective window of the scanner.

Briefly introduce the reasons and troubleshooting methods of the failure to read:

1) The function of reading this barcode is not enabled.

2) The bar code does not meet the specifications, such as lack of necessary blank areas, the contrast between bars and spaces is too low, and the width and narrow ratio of the pairs of bars and spaces is inappropriate.

3) In direct sunlight, the photosensitive device enters the saturation zone.

4) The bar code surface is covered with a transparent material, and the reflectivity is too high. Although the bar code can be seen by the eyes, the reading conditions of the collector are strict and cannot be read.

5) If the hardware is faulty, contact your dealer for repair.

Maintenance

1.Stains and dust on the scanning window can sometimes affect the normal operation of the barcode scanner.When cleaning,use a good quality tissue to wipe gently,or use a soft cloth to clean.

If you use a paper with poor paper quality for a long time,it will damage the surface finish of the window and affect the reading effect of the barcode scanner.

2.The outer shell of the barcode scanner can be wiped with a soft,clean cloth.If necessary,add a small amount of detergent to the water,wipe it with a soft cloth and rub it.

3.Do not spray any liquid on the window.

4.The scanning window must be kept clean and the supplier is not liable fo damage caused by improper maintenance.
